3 Westgate SuperContest Formats
SUPERCONTEST
The longest-running football handicapping contest is the SuperContest offered by Westgate. Contestants pick 5 NFL games against a stagnant spread each week.
The most accumulated points win, as well as the other top 20 contestants. The competition will also have nine in-season contests to go with the overall title. A player can enter seven (7) times into the SuperContest for this season.
$1,000 buy-in
SUPERCONTEST GOLD
Big-money handicappers like to take advantage of the SuperContest Gold offered by Westgate. The Gold has the same rules and points structure as the SuperContest except for the buy-in amount.
The most accumulated points win, and GOLD is a WINNER TAKE ALL event. Last season’s winner collected $360,000 in the GOLD contest!
(Limit one entry per contestant).
$5,000 buy-in.
SUPERCONTEST REBOOT
Carrying a low buy-in, the contest utilizes the same against-the-spread format but is exclusively NFL Weeks 10-18 to help make the last half of the NFL season more exciting.
The team with the most accumulated points over the last half of the NFL season wins.
A player can enter five (5) times into the Reboot contest for this season.
$500 buy-in
About the Westgate SuperContest
The Westgate Supercontest in its basic form is pretty simple - you pick 5 games against the spread each week. If you pick correctly, you accumulate points - the top 20 placed contestants win! In addition, beyond the overall contest, there are 9 in-season contests. Furthermore, you can choose to enter the Westgate Supercontest Gold, which offers lucrative prizes, and you can also try the Supercontest Reboot if things don’t go all that well, to begin with - you can enter the Reboot contest three times during the season.
NFL Super Contest Buy-In
The Buy-in for the Westgate SuperContest varies by level. The normal SuperContest has a buy-in of $1,000 and you can have seven entries. Supercontest Gold has a $5,000 buy-in, with only one entry allowed per user. The SuperContest Reboot, which is perfect for those who like second and third chances, has a $500 buy-in and users can buy in five times per season.
